Advisor to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council on reintegration and restoration of Donbas Serhiy Sivokho decided to postpone the launch of the National Platform for Reconciliation and Unity due to the escalation in Donbas, as he reported on Facebook.
“A cynical provocation to disrupt peace initiative. There is no other word to describe the things that took place today near Zolote. It was difficult; we doubted and focused on the pros and cons but finally, made a decision to postpone the presentation of the National Platform for Reconciliation and Unity. Once more: not to cancel but to postpone,” Sivokho stated.
The date of the presentation will be reported later.
On February 18, about 5:00 a.m. the militants started the attacks of Ukrainian strongholds in Donbas near Zolote, Novotoshkivske, Orikhove, and Krymske.
The Office of Prosecutor General of Ukraine started a criminal investigation due to the fact that Russian mercenaries landed attacks on Ukrainian military emplacements in Donbas.
Earlier, Serhiy Sivokho announced the launch of the National Platform for Reconciliation and Unity
