Biryukov wants ‘to follow the trend’

The Advisor of Petro Poroshenko Yuriy Biryukov wrote a letter of resignation. Biryukov posed this on Facebook

“I will follow the trend. Moreover, such a good company,” he wrote.

As we reported earlier, the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council Oleksandr Turchynov officially resigned. 

Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin stated that he resigns from his post. Klimkin also explained that he told Zelensky about his decision earlier. According to him, the new President has a right for his own team and foreign policy strategy.

The current president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko accepted the resignation of Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Kostyantyn Yeliseev.

On May 16, the date of the inauguration was announcedYeliseev filed the report on the resignation.

Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine voted for the date of inauguration of President-elect Volodymyr Zelensky. Ukraine's Parliament appoints the date of Zelensky's inauguration on May 20.
