Ukraine will continue to work in “5+2” format on Transnistria question settlement. This was reported by Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko during the joint briefing with the Prime Minister of Moldova Pavel Filip on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.
“Only decisive joint actions will allow restoring the territorial integrity of Moldova and I would like to firmly underline Ukraine’s position that supports and will do everything to ensure that the territorial integrity, independence and state sovereignty of Moldova are not violated. In particular Ukraine will decisively and actively work in “5+2” format,” he said.
It is noteworthy that Moldova, Transnistria, Ukraine, Russia, OSCE, European Union and the USA take part in “5+2” format in negotiations on Transnistria settlement.
Earlier it was reported that Moldova-Ukraine highway planned to open in 2017. The road traffic across the bridge Unguri- Bronnytsa will hopefully be built this year, according to Pavel Filip.
