Poroshenko: Ukraine not to support projects with Russia’s participation

According to the President, such projects are undermining Ukraine’s security

Ukraine will not support all-Europe projects with participation of Russian Federation. Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko said this during the joint briefing with the NATO Sectretary General Jens Stoltenberg, as the President’s Administration reported.

“We will not support any all-European projects with Russia’s participation, especially those undermining our security,” Poroshenko said.

As it was reported earlier, Poroshenko announced that Ukraine is going to reach NATO standards by 2020 and for this purpose, it introduces an annual national program under the auspices of the NATO-Ukraine Commission (NUC). He added that he hopes for NATO’s practical assistance to Ukraine upon the results of the summit.

In addition, the participants of NATO Summit in Brussels adopted a declaration which officially confirms Ukraine’s aspirations to the membership in the North Atlantic Alliance. NATO member states realize the interest in expanding the opportunities within the initiative of compatibility of the cooperation.
