The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will meet with the U.S. President Donald Trump in Davos. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin on air of one of the Ukrainian TV channels, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
"Of course, the president will talk with Trump," Klimkin noted, speaking about the forthcoming meetings of the president in Davos.
Answering whether Poroshenko will talk with Trump one on one or in the format of a general meeting, Klimkin said:
"What can they discuss in the format of a general meeting? Of course, they will talk as two presidents."
Klimkin noted that Poroshenko planned in total about 20 meetings on the sidelines of the forum.
As it was reported earlier Christine Lagarde, the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) plans to hold a meeting with Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine, during the World Economic Forum (WEF) that will take place in Davos on January 23-26, 2018.
