Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine will make a decision soon on the appointment of the Joint Force Commander in accordance with the law on Donbas reintegration. Yury Bobrov, the Representative of Legal Groundwork of the General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine claimed this as RBK-Ukraine reported.

‘Candidates list is determined. In the near future, the decision on the appointment of the Joint Force Commander will be made by the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the President of Ukraine. Possibly today or tomorrow’, Bobrov claimed.

According to him, the candidate of the general with the fighting experience since the beginning of the armed Russian aggression is determined for the post.

Earlier the General Staff worked out the documents on the beginning of the Joint Forces Operation instead of the Anti-Terrorist Operation in Donbas. Now, President Poroshenko should approve them.
