Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko declared the creation of anti-corruption infrastructure effective, which is evidenced by the fact that he did not known about serving of notice of suspicion to the suspended Head of State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov. Poroshenko stated this during the meeting with President of the International Committee of the Red Cross Peter Maurer, according to the presidential press service.
"I think this is a very bright example: firstly — an effective anti-corruption infrastructure was created in Ukraine, secondly — a clear evidence that this infrastructure is absolutely independent. The announcement of suspicion to one of the heads is made without me being informed. I think this is exactly what we were trying to achieve by creating this infrastructure," Poroshenko noted.
