Poroshenko signs law on obligatory video-recording during searches

Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine signed a law that obliges the law enforcers to make a video-record of the searches as Interfax-Ukraine reported.

'We worked out the draft law that provides the obligatory video-recording of the searches. And I want to sign this historical document in your presence and in this solemn moment', Poroshenko said.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a law with a support of 312 votes on November 16. the business environment criticizes the law due to the norm that allows the law enforcers to confiscate the electronic information systems if there is such necessity instead of copying the data from the e-devices and to hold due to this the investigation.
