Ukraine will help overcome the consequences of a large-scale fire in Haifa

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed a decree on granting humanitarian aid to Israel to help overcome the consequences of the large-scale fire. This was announced by the press service of the Ukrainian President.

"The Head of the country made the decision to provide humanitarian aid to Israel to assist in dealing with the emergency situation that is a result of a large-scale fire. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is to urgently provide appropriate humanitarian help," the statement said.

Yesterday Poroshenko instructed the Interior Minister Arsen Avakov to send two Ukrainian AN-32 planes to assist with fire liquidation in the Israeli Haifa.

Earlier it was reported that 12 regions of Haifa were evacuated due to the wildfires. Police believes, some wildfires were resulted from intentional arson, possibly on the nationalist grounds.
