Poroshenko orders to conduct public audit of Ukroboronprom before April 16

President Petro Poroshenko instructed the Cabinet to conduct a public audit of Ukroboronprom state enterprise before April 16. This is stated in the press service of the president.

It is indicated that on Saturday, March 16, Poroshenko signed a decree, which introduced the decision of the National Security Council to reform the military industrial complex.

According to the decision, the complex's capacities will be reviewed. The Cabinet of Ministers is entrusted to conduct the process in the prescribed manner.

The government is also tasked with ensuring the elimination of corruption risks, increasing the level of transparency and strengthening control by the state and the public over the activities of the Ukroboronprom and other state-owned enterprises of the defense industry complex.

The government should take measures to involve representatives of partner countries in the work of the supervisory board of the Ukroboronprom concern.

The Cabinet has been tasked with working out the question of the feasibility of establishing a central executive body to implement the state military-industrial policy and control over Ukroboronprom.

“The Cabinet of Ministers should also organize an audit of the State Concern Ukroboronprom and member companies of this concern with the involvement of international experts, and inform the public on its results,” the report said.

Earlier about a dozen people were detained in Poltava before the start of the pre-election rally of Petro Poroshenko, according to the Poltavshchyna local newspaper.

It is reported that a conflict occurred on Teatralna Square. According to eyewitnesses, a group of young people with half-closed faces began to throw bottles in the direction of the scene. As a result, about ten people were taken to the police vans.

As the newspaper notes, representatives of the "National groups" threw toy pigs at law enforcement officers with the requirement to bring to justice the former First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleg Gladkovsky (Svynarchuk) for embezzlement in the defense sphere.

As a result, the law enforcers took about 10 people to the police station, where they found out the purpose of their actions. The prequalification of their actions is hooliganism.
