MP and the fifth president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko was summoned for regular interrogations at the State Bureau of Investigation on January 21 and 24. He is considered a witness in a number of criminal proceedings. The press service of the State Bureau of Investigation reported.
"The State Bureau of Investigation is conducting a pre-trial investigation of a number of criminal proceedings, as part of a pre-trial investigation, in which you need to interrogate you as a witness," the report says.
So, Poroshenko was summoned by investigators to the State Security Bureau "for interrogation as a witness at 10.30 a.m. on 01.21.2020 in criminal proceedings No. 62019000000001732 to investigators of the central office of the State Bureau."
In addition, Poroshenko was summoned “for interrogation as a witness at 11:00 on 01/24/2020 in criminal proceedings No. 62019000000001905 to investigators of the central office of the State Bureau of Investigation.”
“We warn that according to Articles 139, 140 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, in case of failure to appear without a good reason, a drive may be used against the investigator,” - the bureau noted.
