President Pedro Poroshenko met the released from militant captivity Ukrainians near Kramatorsk, Donetsk region.

Minister of Defense Stepan Poltorak, Ombudsman Valeriya Lutkovska, MP  Iryna Gerashchenko, and Ambassador of France Isabelle Dumont joined the President in meeting the released captives.

“Minister of Defence and our partners from the Normandy Four - the Ambassador of France, the representative of the Embassy of Germany - came to meet you here. It’s because of the efforts of Angela Merkel, Emmanuel Macron, out big team that it became possible for you to be with us. I asked for you to be provided with helicopters, - everyone will be brought to Kharkiv, and in an hour - there’s a plane to Kyiv, where you’ll be greeted by your relatives, a great number of Kyivans and Ukrainians,” he said.
