Ukrainian President came to Belgium to participate in 'Eastern Partnership' summit

Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine began his visit to Brussels with a meeting with Philippe, the King of Belgium as the press service of the presidential administration reported.

Poroshenko thanked Philippe of Belgium for the political support, solidarity and support in the fight against external aggression.

Ukrainian leader expressed the hope that Belgium will continue to support Ukraine on the way of integration into the EU and issue of the support of the sanctions until the complete restoration of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Petro Poroshenko emphasized the importance of the recognition of the Holodomor as the genocide of the Ukrainians in the context of the 85th anniversary of the commemoration of the victims of the Holodomor of 1932-1933. Poroshenko invited Philippe of Belgium to visit Ukraine.

The 'Eastern Partnership' summit will take place on November 24 in Brussels. Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine claimed that the interim goals of Ukraine on the European path will be determined at the summit.
