President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is holding talks with the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban. This was reported by the press secretary of Ukraine’s President Svyatoslav Tsegolko on his Twitter page.
“President of Ukraine is negotiation with the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban,” Tsegolko said.
The interlocutors also discussed the expansion of Ukraine's cooperation with the countries of the Visegrad Group during the presidency in the Hungarian group, that will begin on July 1, 2017.
Viktor Orban noted he supported territorial integrity of Ukraine and the immediate granting of visa-free regime with the EU to Ukrainians.
“Special attention was paid to the issue of countering Russian aggression in the Donbas. The sides discussed preservation of existing EU sanctions against Russia as an effective instrument to ensure full implementation of Minsk agreements and full restoration of territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine,” the message says.
Earlier it was reported that Hungarian Special Forces report of Russian ties to Hungary’s far right. There is evidence that Moscow tries to cultivate extremists.
