According to the order, the awards went to writer Emma Andijewska for the poetry books: 'Dailiness: periscopes', 'Marathon race', 'Drawer landscapes', 'Non-clock time', 'Cities-knights'; to artist Pavlo Makov for the creative project 'Lost Paradise', to publicist Sergy Plokhy for the book 'Gates of Europe', composer Viktoria Poleva for the choral symphony to the canonical texts 'Light Chants'.
Also, Volodymyr Tykhy, the movie maker, Yaroslav Pilunsky, Serhy Stetsenko and Yuri Hruzyniv, the cameramen were awarded for the cycle of the historical documentaries about Maidan 2014.
The amount of the Shevchenko National Prize in 2018 is $8, 640 each.
