Ukrainian ex-president Petro Poroshenko pompously celebrated his fifty-fifth birthday in one of the most luxurious Kyiv restaurants on Saturday, September 26. This was reported by Vesti.

"Despite the fact that September 26 was declared a Day of mourning, the ex-president loudly and cheerfully celebrated his birthday," the newspaper writes.

"Happy birthday, Petro Oleksiyovych. Shame on you. In the morning post on your official page about mourning and sympathy, and in the evening music, alcohol and fireworks. Every time it seems to us that you have already shown yourself in all the glory, you manage to fall lower in the eyes of Ukrainians," Oleksandra Mazur wrote on the ex-president's page.

According to eyewitnesses, the security of the restaurant did not let visitors into the VIP hall of the restaurant. They denied the fact that Poroshenko was inside.

Later, the ex-president's bodyguard, appeared at the entrance, confirming the fact that Poroshenko was celebrating his birthday at the Not only fish restaurant.

"Poroshenko's security has never been polite and tolerant, but their order to use force if people do not leave the entrance - this is too much," passers-by commented.

According to them, former president's bodyguard first brazenly communicated with the restaurant's guests, and then ordered the restaurant's security to use force to hide the fact that the former head of the country is in the restaurant. The evening ended with beautiful fireworks.

As it was reported earlier, the State Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has initiated an investigation into Ukraine's fifth president Petro Poroshenko in 15 new criminal proceedings.
