President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko does not exclude the Russian attack at Mariupol. He claimed this during the visit of the military drills “Sea Breeze – 2018” as the press service of the president reported.

According to him, the current behavior of the Russian can witness about such intentions as they block the entrance of the vessels to the Ukrainian ports in the Azov Sea.

“We see that it is done to block Ukraine in the Sea of Azov. It is done to carry out the escalation of tensions; it is not excluded - to perform the military operation of the attack at Mariupol where the export of the ferrous metallurgy production of Ukraine and attacks at other ports of the Azov Sea,” he said.

According to him, the military readiness of the Marine Corps of Ukraine is very important to this.

As we reported there are 148 vessels detained for the inspection by Russia in the Azov Sea. Lavrenyuk noted that the number of the vessels detained for the inspection grows every day and it makes 148 ships at the moment.
