Poroshenko defines Ukraine’s access to NATO as key factor of state policy

From now on, Ukraine is stepping up work on the whole range of reforms to reach Alliance standards

Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko signed the law that defines Ukraine’s access to NATO as one of the key factors of the state policy. This was reported by the Presidential Administration’s press service.

“President of Ukraine signed the law on ‘Amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning foreign policy of Ukraine’ that restore the course of Ukraine to membership in NATO,” the message says.

As of now, Ukraine is stepping up work on the whole range of reforms to reach Alliance standards, according to the administration.

As it was reported earlier the issue of holding NATO PA in Ukraine will be considered in autumn. Paruby expressed the hope that NATO PA will be hold in Kyiv in 2019.
