Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko met with representatives of Ukraine in the Tripartite Contact Group and discussed the tasks for 2018. This was reported by the press service of the president.
"The last year results of the TCG work were discussed and the priorities and tasks for 2018 were determined," the report said.
It is reported that Poroshenko thanked the representatives of Ukraine in the TCG for a defending national interests and for the professional and dedicated work in order to restore the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
The meeting was attended by People's Deputy Iryna Gerashchenko, Ukraine's second president Leonid Kuchma, former Prime Minister Yevhen Marchuk.
As it was reported earlier the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbas agreed on a new ceasefire regime in the zone of the armed Donbas Conflict since the midnight of December 23rd. Darka Olifer, the spokeswoman of Leonid Kuchma said that the partakers of the meeting confirmed the intention to fulfill the commitments on the release of the prisoners until Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
