Ex-President Petro Poroshenko came for the questioning to the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI). This was reported by Ukrainska Pravda, as it referred to its own source in the SBI.
The SBI confirmed that Poroshenko has come.
“Poroshenko really came for the SBI questioning. He is here now, however we do not know yet for what reason. The interview is planned for tomorrow. We will reveal the details later,” press secretary of SBI Anzhelika Ivanova said, as Hromadske reports.
As we reported earlier, Ukraine's ex-President Petro Poroshenko did not come to the questioning to State Bureau of Investigation as a witness, as the Head of the body Roman Truba said at the briefing, broadcasted by the press office of the Bureau, on July 17.
The media reported that Poroshenko was summoned for the interview for the second time on July 25.
We recall that SBI is investigating eight criminal proceedings over illegal actions of ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. One of them concerned money-laundering and tax evasion, another one – involvement in state treason, attempts to seize state authority, and abuse of power and official authority. The third statement against Poroshenko concerned Pryamy TV channel.
