President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko calls on the ambassadors from the Group of Seven countries (USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, and Japan) as well as the European Union to continue their support of Ukraine. The press service of the head of state reported.
“I appeal to you with a request to continue supporting Ukraine, especially, taking into account the safety situation. To continue supporting the country on its way to reforms. This is a highly important issue,” Poroshenko stated during the meeting with the ambassadors of the G7.
In addition, the President of Ukraine thanked them for the great support of Ukraine during the last five years and called on to strengthen the support of Ukraine concerning the renewal of its sovereignty and the territorial integrity.
As we reported earlier, there is a great chance that the sanctions against Russia will be extended. Incumbent President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko stated this in Brussels.
