Poroshenko approves new concept of fighting against terrorism

The new order comes into force on the day it was published

President Petro Poroshenko has approved the new concept of the fight against terrorism in Ukraine. The proper order was published at the presidential website.

“In accordance with the points 1 and 17, part 1 of Article 106 of the Constitution of Ukraine, Articles 13 and 27 of the law of Ukraine “On the national security of Ukraine”, I order to approve the Concept of the fights against terrorism in Ukraine,” the message said.

Poroshenko has ordered the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and Security Service of Ukraine, Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, and the State Security of Ukraine to develop and approve the implementation plan of the Concept of the fight against terrorism in Ukraine during two months. The Security Service along with other bodies, which fight against terrorism should prepare and file the offers on the order of the holding of the heck of the state system on the fight against terrorism.

Moreover, the order of the president of Ukraine dated April 25, 2013 #230 “On the Concept of fight against terrorism” should be recognized as null and void.

The new order comes into force on the day it was published.

As we reported, the State Guard Department prevented 11 assassinations attempts against the President Poroshenko in 2018.

Besides, there were attempts to legalize the Russian mercenaries from the descendants of North Caucasus and the countries of Central Asia in Ukraine.
