The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the law adopted by the Parliament on ratification of the agreement between the governments of Ukraine and Montenegro on cooperation in protection from natural and other disasters. Such information was published on site of the Parliament.

"02.12.2016 Returned with the President the signature," the message says in the status bar of the document. The law was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on November 16.

This agreement, signed by the parties on June 13, 2013 in Kyiv, regulates the general framework of voluntary mutual aid in case of accident on the territory of the other party, conditions of cooperation in disaster prevention and other forms of mutual cooperation.

According to the text of the document, the cooperation between the parties includes mainly the exchange of scientific, technical knowledge and professional experience in the field of protection against disasters, education and training of personnel involved in activities of protection and rescue operations, development and production of protective and safety equipment, mutual notification of the risk of disasters and their consequences, assistance in the event of natural or other disasters in protection, rescue and response.

Earlier it was reported that Poroshenko signed law on budget financing of Crimean TV channel. The size of ATR channel financial support will be up to $1,2 million.
