113 judges of Ukraine’s new Supreme Court have taken oath today at Klovsky Palace in Kyiv.
Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration announced the appointment of 113 new Supreme Court judges today, November 11.
President Petro Poroshenko noted that now every fourth judge of the Supreme Court is a lawyer or an academician.
120 winners of the competition had been chosen first, and then 113 of them were appointed.
The Supreme Justice Council announced the final list of the candidates for the posts of the judges in the Supreme Court of Ukraine on September 29.
The Council of Europe highly appraised the results of the competition to the Supreme Court.
