Polish consulates resume work in Ukraine

Foreign Ministry of Poland reserves the right to once again suspend the activity of consular institutions

All the Consulates General of Poland in Ukraine resumed their work.

Ukrainian side took all the necessary measures to ensure the safety of the personnel of Polish Foreign Ministry and diplomatic missions in Ukraine, reports Polish Radio with reference to Polish MFA.

“In cases of deterioration of the security situation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reserves the right to once again suspend the activity of consular institutions,” the message of the Foreign Ministry says.

The consulate in Lutsk, that was attacked last week has also resumed its work on April 4, according to the message on the website.

Earlier it was reported that Consulate-General of Poland was shelled in Lutsk, Western Ukraine in the early hours of March 29. The Consulate might have been shelled from grenade launcher.
