The police managed to partially recreate the route of the lawyer Iryna Nozdrovska before her murder: from the place of work in Kyiv and to the metro station. This was reported by the first deputy head of the National Police Vyacheslav Abroskin on January 5.
According to him, lawyer’s movement and approximate time of her death were established. However, he emphasizes, the final conclusion will be made after a complex examination.
Abroskin noted that information is being checked and work with video footage from CCTV continues.
In particular, more than 30 CCTV cameras recorded the movement of the lawyer.
"However, these cameras are not state property, so access to each of them is possible only by a court decision. Today, the police did not have access to all cameras," he said.
At the same time, he noted that various versions of the commission of this crime are being checked, including the version of involvement in the murder of a citizen who killed victim's sister.
"We assume that Iryna came home, where she could have been waited, or she was riding along with the killer," Abroskin added.
As it was reported earlier relatives of Iryna Nozdrovska reported her disappearance on December 29th. She disappeared on the way from Kyiv in Vyshgorodska area. She investigated the death of her sister, who in September 2015 died in a car accident caused by Dmytro Rossoshansky, the nephew of a district judge, who was in a state of drug intoxication at the time of the accident.
Two years after the accident, Iryna was able to obtain punishment for Rossoshansky. At the end of May 2017 the court sentenced him to 7 years in prison, but on December 27 he almost escaped from custody: in the Court of Appeal of the Kyiv region, the lawyer tried to appeal the verdict and bring his client under amnesty, using the violations committed by the court of the first instance. As Irina's relatives said, she constantly received threats from Rossoshansky.
