Police officer beats local resident in Odesa region

A conflict emerged between the local resident and police in Tarutyne, Odesa region. As a result, the police officer hit a 19-year-old local resident. Later, the police officer pushed out a phone of the witness.

As the news agency Usionline reports, according to the witness, the victim called the law enforcer “trash”, which triggered an aggressive reaction of the police officers.

The Advisor of Odesa National Police Central Administration Head wrote on Facebook that an internal investigation started upon the video.

“I would like to stress that the police officers don’t understand and condemn the actions of their colleagues, regardless of the presence of reasons for the conflict, it does not justify such behavior of the law enforcers,” he stressed.

Earlier, a video appeared in the Internet, which shows a police officer beating a man on a subway station in Kyiv with a baton.
