The National Guard of Ukraine and police put under enhanced guard the Embassy of Israel in Kyiv due to the planned protest of nationalists as PavlovskyNews reported.

Earlier, Kyiv's far-right organization C14 announced the intention to hold the protest near the Embassy of Israel on January 6.

Thus, the organization reacted to the statement of Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Joel Lion who condemned the march in honor of the 112th anniversary of the birthday of Stepan Bandera. The far-right demand from Israel to claim responsibility for the alleged organization of Holodomor 1932-1933 and genocide against Ukrainians.

On January 1, the march in honor of Stepan Bandera took place. They marched in Kyiv with torches and shouted: ‘Muscovites at knives’.

Up to 1,000 participated in the march. It confirmed the tendency of reducing the number of partakers of rallies of far-right activists.

Earlier, Joel Lion stated that there is an increase of anti-Semitism rates in Ukraine since people let themselves dissert on the number of Jews in Ukrainian business circles and speak absurd things about Jews on TV.
