Police clashes with protesters near Rada while searching for Saakashvili

At 6 am today, law enforcers came into the protesters’ camp near the Ukrainian Parliament, according to the broadcast by Mikheil Saakashvili’s ally on Facebook. 

As people woke up and saw the police, some clashes occurred. The police used tear gas and soon retreated. The protesters say they have injured.

According to the statement by the National Police in Kyiv, they and the Security Service were conducting searches of Mikheil Saakashvili. The protesters were resisting and provoking the officers. As a result, the contingent of law enforcement near the Rada was increased. The police added that so far nobody was detained.
