According to Abroskin, the car was on the Talakivka-Hnutove road, and hit a planted by militants land mine.
Head of the National Police Serhiy Kniazev informed that the police car was going on a call. “This land mine wasn’t there yesterday, because our soldiers were moving around this part of the road freely,” he said.
Not far from the explosion site, the explosion experts found another masked land mine.
Talakivka and Hnutove are in Mariupol sector of the Donbas conflict zone. The Ukrainian Army strongholds near these villages are shelled by “DNR” militants on a regular basis.
