Accusations against the Polish authorities of their alleged attempts to block Ukraine's European integration are part of a hybrid war. This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister Bartosz Cichocki at a meeting with the head of the World Congress of Ukrainians Yevheny Choliy, reports Polish Foreign Ministry.
“Groundless accusations against Polish authorities about the alleged blockage of the process of European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine on the one hand, and on the other - the neglecting honoring, exhumations and other historical issues is an important element of the hybrid war being waged against our state,” Cichocki said.
According to him, this is a result of Warsaw’s growing influence on the international arena and relevant power institutions should react to this.
As it was reported earler Polish MFA head said Ukraine will not enter Europe with Bandera and that Poland will insist on reviewing the historical issues.
In response Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry called Polish Ambassador over Waszczykowski statement. The Ministry stressed that we must build common European future with friendly Poland instead of setting one another conditions.
