PM announced opening of funding program for Ukrainian startups

 Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk has announced a funding program for Ukrainian startups.  He wrote about this in Telegram.

 "The total budget of the program is 18.5 million USD. All interested Ukrainian business projects at the pre-seed and seed stages can add their application at this link: https://usf.com.ua/uk/. So, by the end of this year for startups that will be selected, we will provide 1.7 million USD for development financing. Next year – 2.5 million for a quarter, and this is 10 million for the whole year," - the prime minister said.

 Honcharuk also noted that the main areas of financing include artificial intelligence, augmented reality, Big Data, blockchain, cybersecurity, defense, medicine and healthcare, travel, financial technology, educational technology, robotics, professional services, software as a service, manufacturing, e-commerce  Internet of things.

 “By supporting startups and encouraging Ukrainians to entrepreneurship, we will strengthen the development of the Ukrainian economy and create additional jobs. These aspects are factors in the overall well-being of the Ukrainian. It is important for us to develop the creative economy of the country. Knowledge, talents and skills are the new capital of the modern world,” PM noted.

As we reported, Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk said that in the next 3-5 years "high-quality roads", which would connect all major cities, should appear in Ukraine.
