Plane that is to take released Ukrainians home landed in Vnukovo airport in Moscow

A passenger aircraft that is supposed to take Ukrainian captives in Russia back to Ukraine landed in Vnukovo airport in the Russian capital. 112 Ukraine TV channel reported that on September 7.

Nikolai Polozov, the lawyer of captured Ukrainian sailors claims that the process of their release has begun. He posted that on his Facebook page.

"The defense team of the captured Ukrainian seamen avoided commenting the non-reliable rumors and assumptions about their release. Now one can say that the process begun", Polozov wrote.

Previously, the lawyer reported that the sailors had left Lefortovo detention centre in Russia.

As we reported earlier, Russia and Ukraine have agreed on exchange "33 on 33". President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said he hoped for "first results" in the exchange of detainees between Ukraine and Russia soon.
