A plane took off from Boryspil airport to evacuate Ukrainians from Italy. These people had previously tried to return home, but could not because of the closure of borders with Slovenia. This was reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.

“On March 15, Ukraine will evacuate from Venice 95 of its citizens, who previously tried to return to Ukraine, but were stuck on the Italian border due to the closure of the borders with Slovenia. The SkyUp Airlines special flight plane left Boryspil airport at 16:00. This is only the first board that carries out the evacuation of Ukrainians who cannot return home due to quarantine," the report said.

According to the Cabinet, the plane will fly along the route "Kyiv (Boryspil) - Venice (Marco Polo Airport) - Kyiv (Boryspil)".
