The next stage of raising pensions for disabled people is expected from December 1. This was announced by Ukraine’s Vice Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel Pavlo Rozenko.

"Only working pensions were transferred within the pension reform. Social pensions, including payments to disabled people, will increase with the increase in the subsistence minimum wage. The next increase in the subsistence minimum is made on December 1 of this year, therefore, the corresponding payments will increase from December 1," he noted.

Rozenko added that the pension reform will be modernized, accordingly, pensions will grow.

"This is not the last pension raise. The pension reform does not end there. The act on October 1, when you pensions were transferred is the first, but not the last one, we are moving on. There will be new solutions, there will be new increases in pensions, and new modernizations," he said.

As it was reported ealier Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko signed bills on pension reform.

As you know, the main point is the law "On Amending Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding Increasing Pensions", which introduces pension reform.

The Verkhovna Rada approved the pension reform on October 3. In favor of it voted 288 people's deputies. According to this document, about 9 million pensioners will receive an increased pension from October (at least to UAH 1,452). In addition, the reform provides a number of other changes in the pension system of Ukraine.
