The journalists of ZiK, NewsOne and 112 Ukraine TV channels illegally closed by President Volodymyr Zelensky united to create a new Pershiy Nezalezhniy (First Independent) TV channel that will inform the audience about events in Ukraine. Presenter Pavlo Kuzheev said so, commenting on the situation.
“We reserve our right for profession and strive for executing our professional duty onwards, in other words, to inform Ukraine and the world about by what our state live, what events take place at the international arena,” Kuzheev noted.
The journalist compared the closure of three opposition TV channels and the creation of a new one with an after-shock that appears after the earthquake.
“But I am sure that we would be able to survive it and we will continue to work for our audience, for our citizens,” Kuzheev underlined.
Soon, the viewers will be able to watch the channel on TV screens, and not only on YouTube. Webcast of the TV channel is available on the website pnk.tv.
The new TV channel will broadcast on ASTRA-4A satellite, 5°E. It can also be found on the largest cable networks of the service providers Volia, Triolan and other operators. The faces of Pershiy Nezalezhniy will be all the figures that are iconic and familiar to the viewer of the TV channels closed by Zelensky. The list includes Diana Panchenko, Pavlo Kuzheev, Vyacheslav Pikhovshek, Vasyl Apasov, Yuriy Bibik, Andriy Lashch, Rostyslav Sukhachov and others.
