Andriy Parubiy, Verkhovna Rada Chairman, suggested considering the cancellation of the compulsive e-declaration for anticorruption agencies in the Parliament on April 3, as it was reported on the Verkhovna Rada website.
“During today’s session, the Chairman along with factions and groups representatives agreed to carry out work in the factions to make positive decisions on the decriminalization of the article, which allows social activists not to provide e-declaration. The article also cancels the e-declaration for social activists,” Parubiy said.
Parbiy suggested that the issue of the cancellation of e-declaration for social activists be the first to discuss at the Verkhovna Rada session on April 3. The Chairman added, that they should also discuss the decriminalization of the article on the social activists’ e-declarations failed to send or sent late.
It should be mentioned that the deadline for the submission of the declaration of assets expires on April 1.
Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada refused to consider the bills which are cancelled or reschedule the deadline for submission of the electronic declarations of property and revenue of the NGO’s representatives, which deal with corruption.
As it was reported, the Group of Seven called Ukraine for cancellation of the e-declaration for anticorruption crusaders.
