PS 752 plane crash in Tehran

According to the preliminary report of the investigators of the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran, part of data from the black boxes of PS752 flight, which crashed in Iran, is lost, as AP reported.

“The report also confirmed that both of the so-called black boxes that contain data and cockpit communications from the plane had been recovered, though they had damaged and some parts of their memory were lost,” the message said.  

It is also mentioned that the investigators excluded laser or electromagnetic interference as the cause of the crash.

The crew of the Ukrainian plane did not ask for help and tried to return to the airport when the plane started to fall.

According to the investigators, the accident caused a massive explosion when the plane hit the ground, possibly, because the aircraft was fully loaded with fuel.

On January 8, Boeing 737 of Ukraine's International Airlines, flight PS752 with 180 passengers aboard crashed in Tehran, not far from Imam Khomeini airport.

11 citizens of Ukraine died in the crash of Boeing 737 of Ukraine's International Airlines (PS 752 flight). President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that the passenger plane crash in the Iranian capital left no survivors.

Preliminary, there were 167 passengers and nine crew members. The International Airlines of Ukraine published the names of the crew members deceased in the result of the crash. Later the air company published the list of passengers of PS752.

Besides, Ukraine stopped flights of Ukrainian airlines in the airspace of Iran from midnight on January 9, 2020.
