Parliamentary groups demand Yaremenko's resignation

Heads of all parliamentary factions demanded to resign MP Bohdan Yaremenko from the post of the Head of the Foreign policy Committee. However, the political party Servant of the People, which Yaremenko belongs to, banned the initiative. The source in the parliament reported that to 112 Ukraine TV channel

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov held a meeting with the Heads of the parliamentary groups where the request to resignYaremenko was proposed. But the suggestion was blocked by the Head of the Servant of the People party. Thus, involved in the sex scandal Bohdan Yaremenko is still the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Policy issues and inter-parliamentary cooperation as well as the Head of the international delegation. 

As we reported earlier, Bohdan Yaremenko stated that his intimate correspondence with a prostitute was a "rash act"

The lawmaker apologized to everyone whom he caused any trouble with this particular move. 

"Not all decisions are equally decent. I deleted the previous post and I'd like to apologize to all those whom I caused problems with my rash act - from my wife and children to the faction and the President", Yaremenko wrote on his Facebook.
