Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security supported the exclusion of the people's deputy Nadiya Savchenko, it was broadcast by "112 Ukraine" TV channel.

Prior to this, the People's Deputy Andriy Teteruk introduced the resolution on the termination of membership of the People's Deputy Savchenko in the committee.

"In accordance with the aim to stop the work of people's deputy Savchenko in the ranks of our committee, in order to prevent the disclosure of information relating to state secrets, despite the fact that the member shall participate in the meetings that deal with issues related to state secrets, I ask to support this resolution and accept it on the whole,” Teteruk said.

It was also informed that Parliamentary Committee on National Security will submit a request to the Prosecutor General’s Office on a charge of state treason against Savchenko.

"The information, which we have heard, gives us grounds to apply to the Prosecutor General’s Office in order to give a legal assessment of Vynnyk’s statements, statements of the representatives of the Security Service. We have the legislation, we will stick to the current legislation in this procedure," Pashynsky said.
