The draft decree on the inauguration of President-elect Volodymyr Zelensky on May 19 was registered in Verkhovna Rada.
Ukrainian MP Sergiy Mishchenko presented the respective draft law No. 10270.
“Draft decree on the conduction of the ceremonial meeting of the Ukrainian Parliament dedicated to the pledging of allegiance to the Ukrainian nation by President-elect of Ukraine (May 19, 2019),” the name of the document.
The documents of the project have not been published yet.
It should be noted that if the inauguration takes place on May 19, Volodymyr Zelensky will have an opportunity to dissolve the current composition of the Parliament – the law allows to do that till May 27.
On April 30, the Central Election Commission announced the results of the second round of the presidential elections in Ukraine in 2019. Volodymyr Zelensky wins the presidential run with 73,22% of the votes. Petro Poroshenko got 24,45% of the votes.

Later it was reported that Petro Poroshenko is ready to meet personally with Volodymyr Zelensky, the official winner of the presidential elections in Ukraine.
