The Verkhovna Rada passed in the first reading and in general the bill № 5199, which lifted the moratorium on sanctions for loans to citizens in the Anti-Terrorist Operation Zone.

The draft amends Articles 2 and 9 of the On Interim Measures for the Period of the Anti-Terrorist Operation Law.

According to the explanatory note, the document guarantees the preservation of rights for persons who had or have problems with the financial situation caused by the Anti-Terrorist Operation and Joint Forces Operation and will allow residents of Luhansk, Donetsk and Kharkiv regions to obtain credit on equal terms with all citizens for individuals and for small and medium businesses.

As it was reported earlier, the Verkhovna Rada unblocked the signing of the bill № 2194, which allows the transfer of land outside settlements to communal ownership.
