Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) adopted the resolution on "Functioning of democratic institutions in Ukraine". This was reported by People's Deputy of Ukraine, member of the Verkhovna Rada delegation to PACE Georgiy Logvynsky on Facebook page.
"PACE resolution on “Functioning of democratic institutions in Ukraine" was adopted. The score is 106 on 11 in favor of Ukraine again,” he wrote.
"It is important that our opponents could not change the terms “Russian aggression" to “internal conflict", to replace the concept of “free elections" with the “elections at gunpoint” as well as the election commission headed by car wash guy! The strength of law is above the law of force!" Logvynsky said.
It is noteworthy that the PACE also rejected the amendment on holding elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the occupied territories.
