Over 500 law enforcers to guard order in Kyiv downtown today

Metropolitan police called citizens to behave in a civilized way, treat each other with tolerance and to not break legal order

More than 500 police and National Guard officers will guard the order in Kyiv downtown today, reported police press service Friday.

“Due to holding events with participation of a lot of citizens, more than 500 metropolitan law enforcers and National Guard servicemen will ensure public security and order in Kyiv. Reinforced police details will serve not only in the places of events, but also in the adjacent territories, Kyiv subway stations, public transport stops” the message says.

Metropolitan police called citizens to behave in a civilized way, treat each other with tolerance, to not break legal order and help the law enforcers in fulfilling their function on ensuring public security and order.

As it was reported earlier Ukraine marks National Police Day Friday. It’s been exactly two years since the reformed law enforcement agency started working in Kyiv.
