57.1% of respondents interviewed by the Center of Social Research "Sofia" support early parliamentary elections and 54.5% - for early presidential elections. Such are the results of the survey, presented by the press center of the Ukrainian News.
At the same time, 30.4% of respondents do not support the initiative to dissolve the current parliament and hold early elections, 12.5% - found it difficult to answer.
31.6% of respondents opposed to holding early presidential elections and 13.9% found it difficult to answer this question.
In addition, 41.8% of the respondents unequivocally agree that in Ukraine it is necessary to conduct a qualitative renewal of the authorities, including Verkhovna Rada MPs and change the president, 32.3% - rather agree, 11.7% - rather disagree, 5.5% - clearly disagree, 8.7% - found it difficult to answer.
At the same time, if the elections were to be held on the next Sunday, 49.2% of the respondents would definitely go to vote, 28.9% - are not sure but would most likely come, 5,2% - are not sure, but most likely would not come and 13.3%.- would not come to vote. Another 3.4% of respondents could not answer the question.
The survey was conducted on December 1-10 in all regions of Ukraine, except for the annexed Crimea and the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
2 006 respondents over 18 years old were interviewed using the method of individual interview at respondent’s place of residence.
The theoretical sampling error is within 2.2%.
As it was reported earlier there are more Ukrainian citizens who trust the EU than those whose trust lies with NATO or the United Nations. This was mentioned in the sociological survey, conducted within the EU Eastern Neighborhood initiative. According to the poll’s results, 58 percent of the respondents trust the EU, while 51 said they trust the UN; another 46 percent said they trusted NATO.
