He noted that it is early to speak about the precise number of the observers, who will monitor the process of the snap elections. He explains it by the fact that the Central Election Commission continues to register observers and passes the lists to the border guards.
“According to these lists, their (observers', - 112.international) processing for the entrance to Ukraine takes place. Yes, I think that we will see more mass entrance of the observers to Ukraine during this week and then we will be able to talk and compare the numbers with the previous elections,” Demchenko said.
He added that the main efforts of the border guards focus on the enhanced control of the checkpoints. About 10 foreign observers came to Ukraine during the past 24 hours.
Earlier, the Central Election Commission refused to register the 17 citizens of the Russian Federation, who submitted documents as official observers from the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights.
