Each citizen can choose one of three vaccines with different principles of action.
According to Kuzin, 6.4 million citizens are fully vaccinated in Ukraine, and another 7.9 million citizens received one dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
“7.9 million people have already been vaccinated with at least one dose, and 6.4 million people have been fully vaccinated. Among the priority groups, 82% of doctors were vaccinated with at least one dose, 81% of teachers were vaccinated with at least one dose, and 95% of military personnel," Kuzin said.
According to him, elderly people are the priority group that is least vaccinated. 23% of them, or just over 2 million people, were vaccinated with one dose.
As we reported, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine is preparing documents to start a coronavirus vaccination campaign for children over 14 years old.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 9,524 new cases of Covid-19, including 790 children and 122 healthcare workers over the last 24 hours.
