Over the last 24 hours, 286,121 people were vaccinated against coronavirus. Of which 86,299 people received one dose of the vaccine, and 199,822 people received full immunization (received two doses).
Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign in Ukraine, 13,000,634 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19. Of these, 13,000,632 received one dose of the vaccine, and 10,225,182 were fully immunized and received two doses. A total of 23,225,814 vaccinations were carried out in the country.
The Ministry of Health noted that 88.2% of those hospitalized with Covid-19 last week did not receive a single dose of coronavirus vaccine.
As it was reported, commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada on human rights Liudmyla Denisova asked the Cabinet of Ministers not to dismiss for refusal of vaccination, and to allow to work remotely.
The Ministry of Health plans to introduce mandatory Covid-19 vaccination for healthcare workers. It is also planned to add employees of local self-government bodies to the list.
All unvaccinated officials and teachers will be suspended from work from November 8. It does not apply to people who have absolute contraindications for preventive vaccinations against Covid-19 and received a medical opinion on the presence of contraindications for vaccination against Covid-19 issued by a healthcare institution.
At the same time, sick leave benefits are not provided to employees who have been fired for refusing or evading compulsory preventive vaccination against acute respiratory illness Covid-19.
