In jails and remand centers of Ukraine, 1,114 cases of coronavirus infection were observed since the beginning of the pandemic. 10 cases were reported in 24 hours as Heath Center of the State Penal Service of Ukraine reported.
“In the facilities of penal correction system and remand centers, where the structural units of the Health Center of the State Penal Service work, 1,114 cases of Covid-19 were observed. This number includes 31 prisoners, 37 convicted, 915 employees of the State Penal Service and 131 employees of the Heath Center of the State Penal Service are infected,” the message said.
According to the message, 827 people recovered; 26 prisoners, 22 convicted, 688 employees of the State Penal Service and 91 employees of the Heath Center of the State Penal Service.
Four prisoners, 14 convicted 225 employees of the State Penal Service and 40 employees of the Heath Center of the State Penal Service continue to receive treatment.
Four lethal cases were observed: one prisoner, one convicted and two employees of the State Penal Service.
As we reported, over the last 24 hours, 9,699 people were diagnosed with coronavirus infection in Ukraine. Thus, 1,055,047 cases of Covid-19 have been recorded since the beginning of the pandemic in the country, 709,993 people have managed to recover (+11,803 per day) and 18,533 patients (+209 per day) have succumbed to the disease.
