After the vaccination by Indian CoviShield, 126 cases of side effects were registered in Ukraine as Head of the Parliamentary Committee on Nation’s Health Mykhailo Radutsky reported on Facebook.
“126 reports registered on the side effects, in other words, a little bit more than 1% from all vaccinated people,” Radutsky wrote.
He added that one case was qualified as serious and it caused the hospitalization of a person.
Radutsky also stated that the vaccine from Covid-19 is safe.
Earlier, Prime Minister Denys Shmygal claimed that the third wave of coronavirus pandemic has begun in Ukraine.
Besides, he underlined that if most of the Ukrainian regions end up in the red quarantine zone, there could be another lockdown in this country.
As of March 4, Ukrainian doctors detected 1,374,762 cases of infection with Covid-19 in this country. 1,186,873 people recovered, and 26,591 died of complications caused by the disease. Over the last 24 hours, 10,057 new cases were reported, and 194 patients died. Currently, three Ukrainian regions are in the red quarantine zone.
